[PTI] Conundrous Corridor
Quote from SkyFerret on July 25, 2012, 2:42 amAfter making it past the first chamber, you enter the corridor. Take your first left and enter the first room. This will gain you access to the second room on the right. Make friends with that Frankenturret. He's your only way to the exit.

Quote from quatrus on July 25, 2012, 12:06 pmGreat puzzle, bit of logic to get it done - nothing difficult in execution. Thanks for creating. PTI does not lend itself to visually interesting maps...decayed with frankie turret would have been interesting. Thanks for creating.

Quote from SkyFerret on July 25, 2012, 3:04 pmThanks for playing. I'm glad you liked it. And yes, now that you mention it, decayed style with a Frankenturret would add to the nuance of it. In a way, I would almost have to say there's a style in between clean and decay. I would call it "disrepair." It always seemed like when Wheatly and his Frankenturrets were present, the place looked like it was falling apart, but not quite filthy and over-growth. I never heard of an in-between style ever mentioned, but that's kind of how I see it.
Cheers.

Quote from sicklebrick on July 25, 2012, 5:26 pmSo proud of my little Frankenbuddy right now
Cool map though; It's nice to see you try something a little different. I quite liked the mixture of logic and timing, and the way the timing was loose enough that you didn't have to rush, but tight enough that it's tricky to deviate from the intended solution. Cheers.p.s. Map title and thumbnail have different spellings

But anyways, I'm glad you liked it. Yes, those Frankenturrets can be useful for adding a little twist to things.Cheers.

Quote from RectorRocks on August 31, 2012, 3:07 amThis map was quite hard, especially the third chamber. At least it wasn't that frustrating unlike Underground Corridor. xD
Heres my blindrun: (It is actually 37 mins long, but I cut it 16.5 mins because I didn't know what I was doing in the third chamber)
Blindrun
PFXpKT-WRWY
Okay, heres some feedback:
Feedback
First chamber:
The first chamber was kinda easy, but it was kinda hard and frustrating to press the switch on top.
Second chamber:
The second chamber was pretty easy too.
Third chamber:
This chamber was hard, due to the puzzle being really creative - using the Frankenturret to solve the puzzle. It is however, a bit ninja, because this technique was not used in the campaign. Still liked it though, really really creative.I felt so proud of my Frankenturret for it to help me solve the test. ^^
Definitely a 5/5 from me, keep it up!

Quote from SkyFerret on August 31, 2012, 8:30 amYes, I noticed you had a bit of difficulty pressing that button in the first chamber. I think the key to that, is aiming your cross-hairs directly at it while flinging past it. In the third chamber, when the Frankenturret was walking to the last part where it has to block the beam to de-activate the laser field, it looked like it was going to get stuck against the wall. I thought "Frankenturret, noooooo, don't get stuck or he'll have to do over again."

Thanks for playing.
And as always, thanks for taking the time to upload.
Cheers.
