portal 2 mod problem
I am making a portal 2 mod, but when I add and edit the mainmenu.res to the pack01_dir vpk file nothing is changed. I saw other people were having the same problem. Anybody have an answer?

It is pak01_dir.vpk and I have no idea how the rest of your mod is so I can't really help you more then I used http://www.se51.net/2011/09/15/how-to-m ... tal-2-mod/ and it worked... Good luck
You could always peek inside a mod someone else made and see what you're doing wrong.
well the way you do it, is make you make a folder with the exact file structure of the pak01_dir.vpk, and only edit or add files to there. then you drag that folder over to the bin/vpk.exe, and it should produce the vpk you need, but now you cant edit the .vpk, you can only edit things in the folder then re vpk them
