Portal 2 Map Tutorials

Hi,

Sorry for the self-advertisement in advance, but I made some portal 2 map creation tutorials on my website. They're great for people just getting started:

http://craxic.com/portal2/

I hope someone finds them useful, and if they get a large number of views, I'll add some more (I sorta gave up about 3/4 of the way through, there's some extra parts that need to be covered).

Anyway, sorry for the ad, but they're no help to anyone if no one uses them right?

Thanks!

These are really good. And free!

That person who advertised his crap tutorials that were pay-only should hide in shame.

Well thanks! If you have any tips, let me know.

But there are so many other good resources. That's why I gave up 3/4 of the way through, I thought nobody would use the tutorials I was writing. You wouldn't get any sales at all from that kind of crap.

Also, daily view count to my tiny, tiny website:
2, 1, 2, 1, 0, 10, 23 <-Today

And 23 is the highest it's been in a long, long time (It's only been up for a year or so, actually not even that). So thanks!

They're very useful for explaining paint instances, something which has confused me for quite a while.

You deserve more views.

Thanks!

I also added a thermometer on the side which shows the amount of unique IP (I figured someone may just spam view it) views to the page. If it goes over 100 (which will almost definitly not happen), I'll finish off that last quarter of tutorials (Hard light bridges, exits, doors, making destruction, toxic slime etc.).

Anyway thanks for all the positive comments guys. :D

This is pretty damn good.

I think in terms of boolean variables. Generally, it makes things easier.
