Parenting Overlays to Func_brushes [Obsolete]

Hello, I have a question for whoever reads this, I am current working on a map that contains a func_brush parented to a Prop_dynamic, and about 4 overlays on the said func_brush, but they will not show up in the final product. :angrysquare:
Here is an album of the images:

Yup, you cant parent overlays to func brushes. Doesnt work. Have you tried searching for this problem? Cause I know for a fact that there have been many threads about it already. Look for them.

I think in terms of boolean variables. Generally, it makes things easier.

There is no way to put overlays on a moving brush. The only way to mimic this is to make a custom texture and applying it to your brush OR create a very thin translucent brush over the top which is parented to your moving brush.I suggest you convert it to a func_brush and setting it to non-solid.
