Paint bomb texture

Heya there,

I was wondering if it's possible at all to give the paint blob your own custom texture?

How would I do this?

Omnicoder managed to make purple blobs for his sticky gel, if he's up to tell you his secrets.

Hopefully, I don't want it for the sticky gel, I want it so I can change the colour of the speed/bounce/portable paint.

yeah, i'm just saying, he managed to change the color of paint, so if you ask him and he's not too busy, he can probably tell you how to do that. It's probably a type of vscript for the gels.

ConVars:
bounce_paint_color
speed_paint_color
portal_paint_color
Textures:
paintblobs/
blob_surface_bounce
blob_surface_speed
blob_surface_portal

so I'm guessing you can add an extra one?

How would I actually do this? As I have never changed textures at all before and still have loads to learn in Hammer.

Me 'n omni have looked into adding more slots, but we haven't gotten very far. Unless you want a error texture blob with an oil spill like splat, we don't seem to have the tools to add more.
