Music & Funnels?

Ive just started adding music to my maps but you cant hear the music when youre in a funnel. Is there a fix for this or am I just doing something wrong?

If you are using Wheatley music than use sp_a4_tb_polarity_b1. Its scripted to play the Funnel music once your in one. Otherwise the sound will just turn off. You can probably script it yourself if you ned a particular piece of music to be played.

You have to copy and paste a script symbol from one of the Valve Wheatley maps along with the ambient_generic, then it'll play.

Couldn't you just make an output to play ambient_generic music when the player gets in the funnel?

It wouldn't be custom scripting... since Valve already has the script in the game.

I can't remember the exact entity I copy and pasted into my first map from one of the Wheatley maps, but it's fairly obvious. Just go through the ambient_generics in the level and take all related entities into your own map.

Ok, thanks pirate! Ill give it a try tomorrow.
