Multiple reflectocube droppers not working
Quote from Hotels on June 3, 2011, 9:47 pmSimply enough, I go to http://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki ... _(Portal_2) to learn how to make droppers. I put a reflectocube dropper in my first chamber, all is well. When I complete my first chamber and move onto my second, I have a problem. It says to use instances/gameplay/reflectocube_dropper_multiple_normal.vmf, which I can not find in the correct directory, or in fact anywhere. I have tried several ways to work around this, changing the fixup name, removing the @ symbols from the related button input, even opening up the instance vtfs and trying to make a multiple variation, myself, but there are too many entities for me to really follow what is going on. So what am I doing wrong and/or not doing right here? Thanks.

If I were you I'd open up the cube_dropper_multiple_normal instance, change the cube's type to Reflective, and resave it as your own instance as reflectocube_dropper_multiple_normal. That way you can find it, apply it to the func_instance, and try using it again.
In fact, I might just modify the instance to use reflector cubes and post it here.
