Moving Panels are black.

I am having a problem where most of my panels are completely black. I make them into a prop_dynamic and i will even stick lights right next to them, but they just stay black. Weird thing is that it's not happening to all of them. Does anyone know what the problem might be.

I think for some of those panels (the ones that render black) in the game, you are using a texture with a '_vertex' ending.

I had the same problem yesterday.

As above, make sure they are not vertex textures, also make sure they do not spawn in the void. You could try disabling shadows or as a last resort remake the panels and see if it helps.

Still could not find out what is causing the problem so i just made a a path_corner entity and set all the light origins of the black panels to it.

You can open up the prop_dynamic panel and there is an option to set the light source.
