Model Viewer Help
Quote from LuckyRJ on July 25, 2012, 4:54 amHi all,
i am having difficulties, my model viewer in the portal 2 authoring tools will not open what so ever, all i get is the same message everytime i try and open it, this is stopping me from using better animations in my maps, so if anyone can help me i would really really appreciate it
basically it keeps saying hlmv.exe failed to load, and i tried loads of fixes i saw on the internet i searched and searched and there just is not a fix i can find anywhere, i tried uninstalling authoring tools and reinstalling and i even downloaded the sourcesdk too, and that still didnt work, nothing has worked, i even copied the gameinfo.txt file to the correct directory, and some other files i copied too and still wouldnt work,
so if anyone can help please reply
thanks

Quote from ChickenMobile on July 25, 2012, 5:44 amYou can view animations of models inside the hammer editor by clicking the model tab in the object's properties and choosing an animation from the drop down menu.
Only dynamic models can play animations.
