Mappack Idea (Contains Spoilers!)
Quote from Spam Nugget on September 7, 2011, 3:25 amThinking of making up a mappack, hows this for a storyline idea:
Basically, this is set immediately after the single player campaign and parrelell to the multiplayer campaign. Chell is about to make it outside of Aperture land, but falls through a hole back into an abandoned part of the facility. She then makes her way to the active part and is reunited with GLaDOS, who by this stage has realised robots just don't cut it as test subjects, due to the whole not dying thingo. As such, she puts Chell back into testing as a stopgap measure until she can find the humans in the vault.
Eventually, as we all know (if not, sorry, I did say there would be spoilers) the robots find the vault and GLaDOS gets all the test subjects she desires. She then has no need of Chell (who isnt an ideal test subject anyway due to her lack of dying) at which point she will try to kill her again, or at least put her in storage again (I haven't decided yet).
I plan on utilising a wide variety of testing elements, as well as mix them in ways they never were in the game. This will use mainly clean chambers with some destroyed at the start and the occassional bts just for fun. I'm also hoping to use mainly unused GLaDOS lines, as this fits better with the story then GLaDOS spouting the exact same things as she has said earlier in the game. Not sure if I want to include companion cube or not, it really is overused, but not including it could seem strange from a storyline point of view. I'd also like to say that this will be a long time in the making, as ie barely started and want to do as good a job as I can. Oh, and there will be easter eggs. Just cause I like them.Comments? Suggestions?

I think in terms of boolean variables. Generally, it makes things easier.

So... Is this fan fic or something because this sounds hard to create and implement, especially the interaction with glados. What are you doing for the voices?

Basically, ill try to just use the ones with the SDK. There really is a lot of stuff there, heaps didn't make it into the game.and yeah I know this wont be easy to do, but im going to give it a shot. I might release a demo map or something once i get some more stuff together.
EDIT: oh and my name is actually in relation to the foods, SPAM and nuggets. so yeah.
