Map can only compile fullbright

Built a map in Hammer which refuses to compile unless I set the options to "normal, no, no", giving me hideous fullbright. Tried on a fried's laptop and it wouldn't compile at all. When I do run it it works fine, except the entrance door is strange. When I try to run it with the lighting, it tells me a specific floor button has leaked and aborts, even though this doesn't happen with the fullbright compile. Aside from aestetics the effect on gameplay is marginal; only difference is that the water doesn't render properly and tries to give everyone seizures. If anyone knows a solution to this, or whether a better computer could do the job properly, much appreciated.

If necessary I'll email the hammer file to anyone who knows how to fix this, and they can share credit in the workshop.

You have a leak in your map. Basically your map isn't sealed. When you are not doing the lighting (that's what you do with normal no no) that's not a problem but as soon as you do lighting it is a problem.

Try to compile it again, load the pointfile, follow the red line and see where the leak is. Fill that up and repeat this step until the problem is fixed ;)

wow, that hadnt occurred to me at all because I figured it wouldn't work at all. Thanks, gonna go find the leak now. It's probably due to the fact that blocks seem to randomly disappear (any idea what the deal with that is?)

Maybe. See my post here and if you have the same issue.

It now works perfectly (except I broke the exit in the process of getting rid of the peti music, but I'll fix that). Thanks for your help. Here's the finished map if anyone has a good amount of time to kill:
