Lp plays and gives feedback on your map!

Hello everyone;

After playing through a lot of test chambers and spending hours and hours trying to describe the tiny things I mend in a map; for example lighting or exploits I came to the conclusion it's just easier to make a video of it.

That's why, from now on, I will be recording all my Portal 2 blind runs. As soon as I start playing they should appear on My live stream page. Unfortunately Livestream kicks the videos off again at a later stage. Because that's sad and heart breaking I will upload most video's to my youtube channel as well.

All the video's will be accompanied by voice commentary on puzzle design, graphical design and general mapping tips. I mostly make these videos for mappers so they can learn new stuff!

If you want to keep up to date with all that video material pick one or multiple of these options:
1) Subscribe to me on Livestream.com
2) Subscribe to me on youtube.
3) Follow me on twitter

If you want me to play any of your maps; please provide me a workshop download link and I'll give it a go :)

Looking forward to see your comments on my playthroughs and looking forward to see maps to play :D

I've found that twitch is better for streaming video games.

Twitch is really laggy for me; and livestream also provides me with mp4s for later release to youtube ;)

Twitch.tv works wonderfully, especially for 1080p. You just need a baller PC to be able to properly stream. Also, Twitch.tv keeps everything on their site as VODs. So you can watch them again. ;)

Happy Mapping

My computer can't even watch a stream there 90% of the time :(

Here we go; a bit later than expected but here are the test results:

Do you have any preview hour for the next one tomorrow =D?

Level designer, 3D modeler, texture artist ,environment artist.

erm; no, cuz I'll be playing then ;) not yet =D

For the QE II map (the only one of this batch that I've played), the laser was on when you entered the room and you even put a cube in its path to see what it did, but apparently didn't notice -- it was perfectly obvious to me when I played it. In the third room, I believe the portable surfaces were there so you could see the second cube in relation to the button -- which doesn't make a lot of sense since you don't know which one its paired with.

I'm a little concerned that if you only post these here, the mapmakers may not see them, and so would miss your valuable advice. Why not post them in the map's original thread? I would think these would be very usefull to the mapmakers.

@RogerL; Don't worry; all maps are posted on the workshop pages of the creators as well :)
