Is there a difference?
Quote from RockeTeK on June 4, 2011, 8:12 pmHello ppl,
I was wondering if there is a difference between the two available versions of Portal
- Portal as part of the Orange Box
- Portal as seperate gameFurthermore, I noticed some of the testchambers that occur in the trailers do not show up in the game.
(This olso goes for Portal 2) Does someone know why and are these chambers available to download? Thanks for your replies!

I bought a hard copy of Portal on its own and it's no different from if I'd bought the OB.
Second, in both games many chambers were cut, probably because they were part of the beta. Unfortunately, VALVe hasn't made them available to the public.
