How to close Portals

So I decided to investigate on closing portals. Ive played with the Gmod 9, and gmod 10 portal guns and R closes portals, I think it was the same with the sourcemod ExitE.

So I wanted to do it in Portal, and I did, so Put this into your Config
bind "r" "ent_remove_all prop_portal; play weaponsportalgunportal_close2.wav;

You can change the Closing sound as well if youd like

I dont know if it will work if you type it in console, I forgot the console command to bind it so youll have to add it to your config, Other wise ENJOY :D

I think you're missing an end quotation there. Also, does this require sv_cheats 1 to work?

Well, there is one problem here, I believe: doesn't this close all of 'em, including autoportals?

Re-open the Portal in the very next command so that the user never notices it's gone?

reopen the autoportals IE the ones the play has no control over.

I was sure there is already a bind to close user placed portals

/me shoots off to portal to see if he is right

Well, hard to explain, But sometimes when Im doing a puzzle, I want to place a portal under a combine ball and not have it go through another portal, so I close the portals, Place the portal, then Ill place the portal I need at the right time :D

does it need end quotations or not?

cant you add a command to make the autportals reopen? so it also does that when doing "R"? i guess it would be possible but i dont know ... i never config scripted b4 xD i made a pistol script for cs once.

if you could i got an idea to cheat using the script xD in the lvl

that you also get to later in the escape lvls where the elevator isnt there, you just go though the cleanser and press r then the outside autoportal comes back and you place one inside and take the storage cube inside... but why do that when you can do it the real way?
