How can I make a Portal 2 mod ?
Hello everyone,
I was recently making Portal maps with the first Source SDK. When I tryed Portal 2 Authoring Tools, I loooooooved it because of its simplicity.
On the other side, I wasn't able to find how can I make a mod like with Portal 1, configure the SDK to have the BSP on the mod folder, modify the backgrounds, name of game; have the mod on the Steam Library...

Thanks a lot, but Steam appears to launch the real Portal 2 without sound instead of my mod =/
Doesn't Alien Swarm Have modding options?
EDIT: ALIEN SWARM DOES SUPPORT MODDING USE IT WITH PORTAL 2 INSTEAD, JUAT DOWNLOAD ALIEN SWARM

Hmmm, not sure what is causing that, sorry.
I've only tried it very quickly, to see how it worked.
I've not got to the stage yet where I have to create a proper one for my map... will be doing that 'soon' though I think.
Maybe see how others have done it, I know of one mod called 'The Core', take a look at that and maybe it can help you see what you need to do.

It worked for me 
Maybe try again, and go through it step by step?
It works, I've just forgotten to put the right folders on the pak01_dir VPK.
I still have no sound 
Edit : With some modifications of singleplayer.res I'm able to use the New Game/Continue/Save & Load system of the game but it crashes everytimes I click on "New game" =/
