Gel problem
Quote from TheJaneite on July 1, 2011, 3:41 pmHi everyone!
I can't seem to figure out how to make all the repulsion gel in my map cover the floor at once the way it happens in Valve's maps. Here's a screenshot (the lighting's still very primitive; I've got to decide on a lamp model and figure out how to use the clipping tool...)

The subtitles also disappear after about one second. Does anyone know how to fix that?
Thanks in advance!

Quote from Vordwann on July 1, 2011, 4:32 pmTo make the gel spread correctly, in the info_paint_sprayer, increase the streak percentage, angle and radius of spread, and then, to make it streak extra distance, change the streak time.

The conversion gel could probably use a little more, like 13 and 13. Also make sure that the max blob count in the map properties menu is 100 or lower. This should help reduce lag on other systems. The rest is just ditto.
