Gel not sticking.

I haven't messed with gel yet so this is my first time looking at their settings. I made an info_paint_sprayer and didn't change any settings except for start active which i set to yes. Gel didn't stick to any surfaces and I tried different textures and even a hard light bridge. None of them worked.

Your problem is either(a). Your running a fullbright map (b). You have a Leak in your map.

oh ok, i didn't have paint on map on. Now how do I make it so that I get 1 big blob every second? Which setting is that?

Actually for one big blob periodically, rather than a steady stream of small blobs, you probably want paint bombs rather than paint sprayers. IIRC there's an instance with "paint", "bomb" and "auto" in the name which should do what you want. (Although rather than spawning paint bombs every second, it spawns one, waits for that one to explode, then spawns another, and so on.)
