Creating a custom VGUI_screen?

Are custom VGUI screens possible to make in Portal 2? Even by putting an extra entry in vgui_screens.txt and creating it's own .res file, it still refuses to appear.

Any ideas?

I have had a look at that, and even though I copy and paste an example .res file, it still doesn't seem to work. Can anyone else test this and tell me what I may be doing wrong?

I actually do look at the VDC and actually search a problem before I ask, hence the very limited amount of threads started by me.
