Coop custom end level room not working
Quote from Bam191 on August 5, 2012, 4:50 pmHey guys, I'm pretty new to mapping and I'm trying to create a custom end level room for coop. I made a room, and I brought in the instances for the orange and blue bot disassembler, got rid of all the leaks and made them look nice, tried the map out and...they don't work (not surprisingly). The bots go in, the glass closes and everything, but that's it, you can open the glass again and walk around, as if both players weren't standing in their things yet.
So I opened up the end level room instance too see if I was missing anything in it. I noticed a few logic_relays laying around, as well as some sounds, some env_fades and a coop_manager. I also noticed that the instance for the disassemblers in there had a Fix Up name of "orange" and "blue". So I copied all of the entities into my end level room, and changed the fix up name of my two disassemblers into orange and blue. Tried the map out again and...still nothing. Exact same thing as before.
I looked up and down the wiki and these boards to see if anyone had a similar problem or knew what to do, and there was no luck there.
I was wondering if anyone knew what I was doing wrong? If not, then maybe I should just make a copy of the other instance and edit that to what I want it to look like

Quote from Bam191 on August 5, 2012, 5:25 pmAlright so, quick edit. I noticed that in the instance of the end level room there were some outputs on the instances of the disassemblers. I copied those over onto my disassemblers and it works! They do the loading screen and everything, but now theres another small problem. I don't know if this just has to do with how far away the two disassemblers are, but I can't see the model of the other player. The disassembler plays the animation and everything, and it's fine on my character's body, but looking at the other characters disassembler, it looks like its disassembling nothing.
Any ideas?
