Quote from zivi7 on April 8, 2012, 9:44 pmThis one seemed to be a bit buggy for us.
At some point the ceiling panel for the final move turned on although its button was not pressed. Shortly after, it turned back off again. We didn't manage to recreate that though.
It seemed a bit odd that the cube and the sphere fit through that small hole in the light bridge grid to slide them into the neighbor's chamber. Technically, the hole should be too small because the lightbridge narrows it too much.
I don't think we used the correct way to get the sphere into the second sphere receiver in the right chamber. One of us just jumped down from the light bridge and was able to stand on top of that small sphere-shaped hole. We then managed to hand over the sphere like that. I assume the intended way is different?
Speaking of the sphere: We could easily use it to press the normal cube buttons. Was that intended?
In the left chamber, we could easily use the faithplate to land on the glass box with the sphere receiver in it by pressing backwards during the flight. I assume you wanted the players to use the bridge on the ceiling panel to block the flight instead?
Unfortunately there were no indicator lines telling us what we had turned on or off by doing something. That led to some confusion if we did something right or if we even changed something at all.
It was a good thing indeed that the players could switch positions by killing themselves though.
All in all, this was a 3/5 for me.

Quote from Falconerd on April 9, 2012, 4:02 amThanks for the bug report, I'll have to look into that. I'm going to edit my first post with a step by step intended solution in spoiler tags.
About the sphere activating the cube button. I did not change that as it has no effect on solving the puzzle). The intended way to get the sphere into the right chamber is for blue to stand on the button, removing the emancipation fields then shoot the "bullseye" panel with one portal and the panel he can see straight through the round hole in the glass. Orange then uses the button at the top of his side to open the panel, then portals above the faith plate on blue side and right in front of him. drop the ball onto that and it will be shot across the map then through the hole for blue to catch.
J_p88dhWQtAA short yet confusing map, we found it hard to move the objects and elements around, as it seem to have very few portal surfaces on first glance, but they are there.

Maps are played blind unless stated otherwise this means i have no idea what i am walking in to and if i am doing them correctly. their may be bits where i stop to think.

Quote from KennKong on April 19, 2012, 3:56 amRedunzl and I spent 4 1/2 hours on this. We never (because we tried and failed to do it) would have gotten
the cube to go through the lightbridge grate
. It wasn't until we watched someone else's playthrough that we saw how to make that work. We eventually made it through the exit, but it was a horrible mess of almost certainly unintended solutions. For example, we never used your fizzlestar except for portals. We never used the lower laser. It was a blue gooey mess by the time we were done.
The worst part of the whole experience was that every time we made a mistake (and we made a whole lot of them) you had to start the whole thing from scratch. The second worst part was that this was a two-player map, not a cooperative one. One of us was standing around while the other player repeatedly failed to do something.
We played the 4/10 update version, with indicator lights. I have no freaking idea how anyone managed to struggle through this without them. We've decided not to rate this map until we see the intended solution, because we know we missed a lot of things.

Quote from angryzor on May 11, 2012, 11:41 amPlayed this map yesterday.
We too were basically stuck until I read in this topic that the opening in the grid with the lightbridge was big enough to push the cube through.
We also found a bug: if you put a portal under the blue paint dispenser and the exit near the funnel or on the other side of the room, the ceiling gets painted and the cube bounces against it, breaking the map completely. This could be solved by covering the funnel ceiling with a grid. All in all fun map, loved the separated players mechanic and the fact that you were basically constantly trying to get the ball/cube to the other side.
We never did find out what the portal surface above the faith plate or the panel that originally closes off the slope were for though.
I basically just splattered the walls to the exit with paint and my partner bounced between them.
I think we didn't even use the ball sized opening in the glass wall.

Quote from macko68 on August 7, 2012, 6:23 pmSlightly overwhelming at the beginnig but as soon as you find out that it`s possible to
slide the cube upstairs
rest is pretty simple. It took us slightly over an hour mainly to the mentioned fact. Liked the idea of being parted, disliked starting all over in case of failure. 4/5 from me.
