Das Portal-Forum pr?sentiert: Let's Play Your Co-op Map
)
Schickt eure Maps an portal-forum@st-gerner.de
Also, wir freuen uns auf eure Maps!

The German Portal-Forum presents: Let's Play Your Co-op Map
Create your own Portal 2 Co-op Map and send it to us. We will play and comment your map in front of a camera. The video will be uploaded on Youtube, so the whole world can see your map and laugh about our epic fails.
RULES
* You may only send in your map as a .bsp or .vmf file, but we don't accept .vpk files!
* You may attach one or more .bik files to the map.
* Because we want to play your map together, you may only send in Co-op Maps, no Singleplayer Maps!
* It must be a puzzle map! We don't play racing maps or "Jump'n'Runs". (There may be parts that recommend some skills, but the focus must lie on puzzles.)
* You have to test your map before sending it in, and you have to be 200 % sure that it is possible to reach the goal.
* The map has to be unreleased yet, but you may send in a new map to us, and release it at the same time.
* We don't have to play every map.It doesn't matter how big your map is and how many / which test elements are used.
There's no closing date yet, but maybe in a few month, we will say: "Stop sending in maps now!"
We don't know if there will be any prices - but prices are not so important. The fun should stand in the foreground, and Portal is always fun!
Send your maps to portal-forum@st-gerner.de
We're now looking forward to your maps!

Quote from rellikpd on November 19, 2011, 7:29 pmor you could do that with the hundreds of maps currently available here...
because i just don't see anyone spending their time building a map for the only purpose of having you film yourself playing it...
because i know i sure haven't heard of ya

Quote from Chikorita on November 19, 2011, 7:55 pm@ MasterLagger: Yes, MapPacks are okay.
@ rellikpd: We have already played almost every good Co-op map from your database (we have played nearly every day, for more than 1/2 year), and now we need a new challenge.
And we're unknown yet, that's true - but everyone needs a first project to start with.

Making a map can be a long process and not being allowed to upload it anywhere else would be too much. There are also Portal 2 custom map Let's Play:ers who don't have this kind of demands so you are pretty much underdogs in this situation.

Quote from Chikorita on November 20, 2011, 3:02 pmWe made this rules because we want to play maps, that are new to us. But after talking with my co-op partner, we'd say:
You mustn't send in maps, that have been released yet, because we have already played nearly every good map that's in your database.
But when you create a new map, you can send it to us, but you can also release it here (or somewhere else in the internet).

I think in terms of boolean variables. Generally, it makes things easier.

Waddle Dee facepalm!
Couldn't you just keep downloading the Co-op maps here? I mean, there is no real contest unless someone wins something or has their map declared the best.

Sounds like a very cheap kind of surreptitious advertising for a forum.
