Confetti Dropper? [Solved]
Quote from MrJamieScho on May 28, 2011, 7:36 amHey there!
I'm looking to make a box dropper, and when you push a button, confetti drops out.
It happens when GLaDOS gives you her 'surprise'Do you use a particle creator or something?
I'm fairly new to mapping!
Thanks

Quote from NocturnalGhost on May 28, 2011, 8:43 amThe effect is just called "confetti", so it should find it with that keyword. Make sure the "check subfolders" option is checked, and the "used assets only" option is unchecked in the browser. Other than that, I don't have a clue.

Quote from p0rtalplayer on May 28, 2011, 9:27 amDistributing files is illegal.
They should be in <your steam folder>/steamapps/common/portal 2/portal2/pak01_dir.vpk (which can be opened with GCFscape) in the /particles folder. No need to extract them, just figure out what they're called to find the one you want.
