Compiling Issue: "LoadPortals: couldnt read the .prt"

I have an issue with compiling my map. After dozen's of times going flawlessly, I encountered the problem of my .prt file being removed on compilation of a map. Any map. I've even tried some of my older maps, the ones that worked, and their .prt file was removed, leading in the following error (for my current map):

Quote:
LoadPortals: couldn't read d:program files (x86)steamsteamappscommonportal 2sdk_contentmapsTestchamber_Lasers_1.prt

There are no leaks in any of the maps, and I have retraced my last steps to check for flaws. But it seems the error isn't caused by my maps, but by Portal 2, Hammer, or my PC.

This is the full compile log after I removed it at some point:

Quote:
materialPath: d:program files (x86)steamsteamappscommonportal 2portal2materials
Loading D:Program Files (x86)Steamsteamappscommonportal 2sdk_contentmapsTestchamber_Lasers_1.vmf
ConVarRef gpu_level doesn't point to an existing ConVar
Water found with no water_lod_control entity, creating a default one.

Has anyone got any idea as to what causes my problems? I can't proceed without an answer. :notwant:
Thanks in advance

It could be a problem of brushwork. Just post the whole log, maybe we will discover something.

@Skotty: Well, that WAS the full compile log, that was my main concern. Although I just, after sleeping on it for the night, noticed my "Run BSP" section on the compile screen was set to "Only entities"! Damn, biggest mistake I've ever made in Hammer. Sorry, and thanks for paying attention.

Okay, another issue resolved. :notwant:
