Anyone else with this problem?
Quote from JoeyGuy917 on October 27, 2013, 9:17 pmI was just curious if anyone else has this problem, I know one of the updates or something for hammer did this but I'm still curious if anyone knows a fix. This happens to me no matter what. Whenever I try to play a Scene sound with an ambient_generic I get something saying "Ah fiddlesticks! What now?" When I use something in the entities tool like choreographed_scene (something like that) GLaDOS Scene files work perfectly, but no other, I wanna be able to play Cave Johnson, and Wheatley! So, does anyone else have this problem, I'm just curious.

Quote from FelixGriffin on October 27, 2013, 9:45 pmYou can't play scenes in an ambient_generic. If you want to use a logic_choreographed_scene you need the actors to have the right names. GLaDOS and the Announcer are offstage in an instance, called @glados; Wheatley is @sphere, and Cave Johnson varies by scene (look in the console).

Quote from Dafflewoctor on October 28, 2013, 8:20 pmConsole- this is the Developer's Console that is used to enable cheats, spawn things, anything you need to test a map. Have you ever used this? If not, it can be enabled in your advanced Portal 2 settings and can be accessed by using your ~ key.
And by offstage, this means it's an instance put outside of your map. The instances can be found in your instances folder.
Unrelated: Oh fiddlesticks what now is the eccentric Dr. Kleiner, that for some reason Valve used to occupy any missing sounds.
