Ambient_Generic's Volume cannot be dimmed in co-op

I wanted to use a sound that cuts off half way through it playing but no matter what input I have it does not stop the sound. Putting the Volume to 0 you can still hear the sound, but only a little bit dimmer. Fading does not work, Changing the pitch, StopSound and killing the entity does not work either.

I have tried this in Single-player and it works fine, maybe it is a coop bug?

Please note that this is for the competition so any custom scripts or edited sound is not an option.
