Aesthetic Diversity Vent Help!

Ok, so in the segment of the escape in portal 2 there are these tubes you have to jump down. At first i thought they were normal diversity vents, but now im not sure after seeing how smoothly they go through the tubes. I thought using a trigger_push was the way to go, but after seeing the smooth curves ( motionwise)of cubes with in the tubes, im not so sure. How can I make these more aesthetic diversity vents? Help would be very much appreciated. Thanks!

I'm guessing they used some kind of camera attached to a func_tracktrain, seeing as you are falling the same speed as GLaDOS and she will always be in your sight.

The reason you float over the scaffolding instead of hitting it is probably because of clip, if the player is not looking though a camera or a choreographed_vehicle.

Thank You, but thats not what im looking for. That is in the beginning of the fall, not at the beginning of the escape. I mean the part near the first loading screen of the escape where the cubes and turrets going down thespiral shaped tubes and you have to jump past them. Thanks anyway!

They are animations.(If I understood what you where talking about)

What animations are they?

There are some animated models of cubes and turrets. They have special animations for their tracks.
To find out what animation needs which tube, just watch at them and try to rebuild the tube around them while moving.
